What about King City?

New LCBO store on Hwy. 27 in Nobleton
Schomberg has had an LCBO store for many years and now Nobleton has a brand new LCBO outlet also, on Hwy. 27 at the north end of the village.   But what about King City?   According to the King Township website, King City has as many households as Schomberg and Nobleton added together.   I know...I know...Hwy. 27 and Hwy. 9 have all that auto pass-through traffic.   I don't care about that.   The King Road and Keele Street have a ton of traffic passing through also.   It's time for the good burghers of King City to be able to pick up a chilled bottle of their favourite French Sauvignon Blanc, or perhaps a bottle of English Hobgoblin Ruby Beer!   I do note however that King City, like Schomberg and Nobleton, is about to get a Tim Horton's in the near future at the new plaza at Dufferin Street and the King Road....which is progress of a sort, I suppose.
