This fieldstone and wooden gateway is located quite close to Kelley Lake, where King's 7th Concession bears right, at the 16th Sideroad, and snakes up over one of the highest points on the King Ridge, before turning into a walking trail in the Happy Valley Forest. It is also the point where the new Love Mountain trail also heads eastward up into the woods on the Ridge. Located in such a lofty part of the Oak Ridges Moraine, this private gateway and the upward, steeply sloping forest of huge trees behind it, is most suitably named 'HIGHWOODS'.
