The Pine Farms Orchard ducks were enjoying the slight thaw on the last day of February as Linda and I drove by on the 16th Sideroad yesterday. I spoke briefly to the ducks and warned them that there were 25 cms. of snow predicted for Tuesday. They looked at me as if to say 'Sufficient unto to the day is the evil thereof' and seemed to suggest they were not about to worry about tomorrow's weather until tomorrow. Ah, the wisdom of ducks.
