The minister arrives in style

Photos by Barry Wallace

Kettleby was the setting this past Sunday for part of the Anglican Christ Church's 125th year of service to the village.   The church was built in 1891 at a cost $3,000 and recently had its Norman tower restored to its former glory.   The minister on this day, the Rev. Sheilagh Ashworth, arrived in a most traditional fashion, perched on a buggy seat under a warm blanket.   Some visitors of the day got in the spirit of the occasion by wearing attire thought to be appropriate for the event.   One such person was King Township Councillor Debbie Schaeffer, pictured at right.
