Helen Lucas painting graces King Heritage and Cultural Centre

A large-format Helen Lucas painting which belongs to the Township of King now hangs in the King Heritage and Cultural Centre, after very cramped quarters in which the township currently operates meant the spectacular painting could not be hung there.   I'm sure Kathleen Fry, King's Museum Coordinator, will fight tooth and nail to keep it there if and when the township's new headquarters ever gets built, further east along the King Road, and someone thinks the painting should be there.   A reasonable position on her part probably, as the Lucas painting is a cultural icon, not a political one.   Make sure you look for it when you next visit Kinghorn.
